Katie grew up in the
Orlando area and after graduating from the University of Florida (GO GATORS!)
with a degree in Family, Youth and Community Sciences, the Lord brought her to
St. David’s where she has been working with the youth since July, 2004. During her time here, Katie has found the
people at St. David’s to be very warm and inviting, “most everyone here is so
incredibly supportive of me and it’s comforting to know that this parish really
desires to see a strong youth program full of kids that love the Lord.”
Best part of the job:
ministering
to the incredibly awesome youth…hanging out with kids that rock my face off…
creating the perfect cheer!!!
Worst part of the job: filling out Purchase Orders (boooo! hisssss!)
Favorite verse/ life verse: Jeremiah 29:11: For I know the plans I have
for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm
you, plans to give you hope and a future.
